Alejandra Ramos Gómez

Alejandra Ramos Gómez is a poet, writer, and consultant from Juárez, México. She immigrated to Dallas in 2014 to become an educator, attended Southern Methodist University for her Masters in Bilingual Education, and recently launched We Are Poderosas, a binational self-empowerment and spoken word venture for girls. Imperfecta, Alejandra's debut bilingual poetry book, was published in March 2021. Her work appears in TEDx, Ms. Magazine, Latino Rebels, UN Girls Education Initiative, Plan International, and UNICEF.
