Booker T. Mattison
Booker T. Mattison is an author and filmmaker whose adaptation of Zora Neale Hurston's “The Gilded Six Bits” aired on Showtime. His novel Snitch received a starred review in Publishers Weekly. Mattison’s debut novel Unsigned Hype was nominated for a South Carolina Book Award. His film “Ungubani (Who Are You?)” is currently streaming on the Urban Movie Channel. Mattison received his MFA in film and television production from NYU. He teaches directing and screenwriting at the University of Georgia.
