Catherine Tucker

Catherine grew up in the Mississippi Delta surrounded by rows of cotton fields. For amusement, she read the dictionary from cover-to-cover. She later discovered a better escape—reading books. After earning a B.A. Degree in English, Catherine enjoyed a successful career with the federal government, retiring in 2015. As a full-time writer, Catherine has penned two mystery novels and one short story. She served as president of the Dallas Area Writers Group for three years (2016–2018), and she’s a member of Sisters in Crime and the Crime Writers of Color.
