Jessica Powers is the award-winning author of multiple books for young adults under the name J.L. Powers. She is publisher of Catalyst Press, a publishing program that emphasizes publishing African writers and books about Africa. She is also Director of Editorial and Foreign Rights at Cinco Puntos Press.
