Laura Harris
Laura Harris is an Emmy Award and Associated Press award-winning journalist who joined the NBC 5-Dallas team in September 2018. She co-anchors NBC 5 Today weekday mornings.
Laura has been an integral part in starting and working with NBC 5’s Reading with You youth literacy initiative.Before NBC 5, Laura worked for the ABC affiliate in Tampa, FL for six years. Her career at ABC Action News included covering President Barack Obama’s visit to Cuba in 2016 and Pope Francis’ historic visit to Cuba in 2015.
