Mark D. McCoy
Mark D. McCoy is an anthropological archaeologist whose new book, Maps for Time Travelers, combines his love of archaeology with his love of science fiction. He is an expert in the use of geospatial technology, including geographic information systems, laser scanning, and remote sensing. His research centers on the development of ancient societies on the Pacific Islands, especially Hawai‘i and New Zealand, and the relationship between people and their island environments.
