Sakinah Hofler

Sakinah Hofler is a fiction writer, poet, and playwright. Her work has appeared in Kenyon Review OnlineHayden’s Ferry ReviewMid-American Review, and elsewhere. She has won the Manchester Fiction Prize, the Hurston/Wright Award for College Writers, and the Sherwood Anderson Fiction Award. A former engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense and hailing from the great city of Newark, NJ, she’s currently a doctoral candidate and a Yates Fellow at the University of Cincinnati.
