Shara Jeyarajah

Shara Jeyarajah is a rising senior President’s Scholar at Southern Methodist University studying Human Rights. They are also Dallas Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation's inaugural Racial Justice Intern, and they are currently spearheading the NTX Creative Anti-Racism in Higher Education Symposium. Shara embraces the role of art and technology in advancing solidarity among marginalized peoples, and she seeks to challenge dominant historical narratives throughout her work. Shara is the host of “Maladjusted,” a podcast about the history of SMU through a racial justice lens.
